Important Announcement
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2816 Empress Steam Engine will not be in a position to travel for community events in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, our heritage fleet consisting of vintage coach cars and a heritage diesel engine will still travel across BC and AB from July 13-18, 2011 offering public train rides through some breath taking scenery. All tickets sales will benefit the Children's Wish Foundation and will continue to sell until sold out. We look forward to seeing you on the train.
CP Train Ride

This summer you can choose from one of 15 dates in Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia and purchase tickets to ride with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Children's Wish.
The Empress is a class H1b Hudson locomotive that was built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1930. It is one of the very few remaining preserved steam locomotives in operation today. Last year, $50,000 was raised through this program thanks to great people like you. That's the equivalent of 5 children with a life threatening illness being granted their most heartfelt wish!
We are thrilled to partner with CP and recognize their ongoing support that benefits our children and families. In addition to operating the Train Rides, CP employees have raised over $250,000 through their employee led bottle recycling program and other grassroots initiatives.
Check out the list of available trips and make sure you book early to reserve your seat.
