After selecting the Children’s Wish Foundation, AB & NWT Chapter as its charity of choice for 2011, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Rob Hunt and the K&H Dental Centre have granted their first wish!  On December 15, 2011 Jason Evanson, Children's Wish AB & NWT Chapter Director was presented with a cheque for $10,000 that will support granting the most heart felt wish of a young boy from Edmonton, AB.  

“In the spirit of giving, a personal goal this year was to support the needs, desires, and wishes of children diagnosed with life threatening illnesses.  The opportunity to bring hope…renewed hope…to a child can make all the difference in the world”  says Dr. Rob Hunt of his decision to support Children’s Wish.  

Although the initial connection between dentistry and granting wishes may not be an obvious one, Dr. Hunt came up with the unique idea of supporting Children's Wish by making a donation for every referral received by the clinic. Accepting the generous donation, Jason Evanson shared: "K&H Dental's initiative is a great example of how local businesses can support Children's Wish. Our hope is that it inspires other businesses to also make a real difference in the lives of these very special children."
