The local band, ADHOC along with organizers Keith Miller, Dan Owen, and  Cathy Torfason hosted a sixties British Invasion themed fundraiser this past weekend, aptly named the “With a little Help from your Friends Gala.” The event was a raging success of groovy proportions with sold out attendance and people dancing long into the night at the Red & White Club in Calgary, AB. Dan Owens, Emcee and drummer for the band shared that the committee’s goal was to grant two wishes with proceeds from the event. With each wish costing an average of $10,000, they did just that raising over $22,000! A big thank you to all the guests who came out and showed their support and thank you as well to Dan Owen’s Construction, ERA, and Elis Don for their generous support of the event!
