Flight in Search of Santa

Flight in Search of Santa

Want to meet Santa? In 2013, about 300 Wish children and a number of celebrities and Santa’s elves boarded a special flight bound for the North Pole. The 90-minute expedition – a joint venture by Air Transat and the Children’s Wish Foundation – turned into a voyage of discovery when Santa Claus made a surprise appearance to hand out presents to the wide-eyed children. Another great surprise: Air Transat gave Children’s Wish $309,605, money collected through the carrier's Small Change, Big Hearts program and other activities.

Wish A-Thon

Wish A-Thon

There’s special magic during the holiday season. In 2013, Children’s Wish hosted Wish-A-Thon from November 22 to December 21 and raised over $25,000. Visitors to the Wish-A-Thon website could also ‘Like’ Children’s Wish on Facebook and enter for their chance to win. Congratulations to Kellyann Poulin of Montreal, the winner of an all-inclusive one-week trip for two to Riviera Maya, Mexico courtesy of Transat. This online fundraiser highlights a new Wish child on a holiday tree each day and makes donations as easy as clicking on the gift bag at the foot of the tree.
