Exploring Mexico!

Adventurous 16-year-old Logan from Penticton did more than just relax while he was in Mexico for his Wish.  The youngest of four brothers, Logan has always been quite the explorer.  A history buff and outdoorsmen, Logan has wanted to go to Mexico for quite some time.

However, with his medical condition it hasn’t always been easy to plan a trip, let alone travel.  Logan was born with Chron’s Disease, which causes severe pain and discomfort.  His mom, Diane, shares “Some days are better than others, but Logan rarely complains.  He knows there are children worse off than him and is grateful he is able to do most of the things he enjoys.”

During his trip, Logan, his parents and brothers did more than just soak in the sun.  They snorkeled, zip-lined, repelled and climbed!  They explored and spent time learning the history of the Mayan ruins of Cobra and city of Tulum.  After their trip, Diane wrote “we never thought we would zip-line or repel, let alone climb up Coba!  Logan really enjoyed himself and made some great memories with his brothers,” adding “It was totally amazing and we were able to forget about the health issues going on with Logan”.
