As far as Brooke is concerned she is just like any other nine-year-old, with the only difference being her kidneys don`t work the same way.  This is not true.  Many kids her age cry at the sight of a scraped knee, or at the thought of a needle from a doctor.  

With Stage Four Chronic Kidney Disease, Brooke is a regular at the doctor’s office.  But you won`t see brave Brooke cry or even wince.  She may be young, but she is one tough cookie. Full of energy you will usually find Brooke dancing around her Langley home, playing with her brother and sister, or watching her favourite shows on the Disney channel.  

When it came time to making her wish, Brooke decided she wanted to spend time with her much loved Disney characters both on Land and at Sea!  Brooke, her parents Arianna and Fred, older sister Sidney, and younger brother Isaac went from winter in Langley, to sunny Florida where they spent three nights at Disneyworld followed by a four night Disney Cruise. Being far away from her doctors office gave Brooke and her parent’s time to solely focus on fun, family, and Mickey Mouse of course!
