Here at The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada, we are pleased to announce that we are the new charity partner of the 17th Annual GWN Dragon Boat Challenge, which takes place September 10 & 11, 2011 at Western Beaches Watercourse, Marilyn Bell Park, Toronto.
This great event is a two-day regatta that brings together 5,000 dragon boaters and 20,000 spectators. As one of the dragon boaters, you will help grant the magic of a wish to a child by raising pledges through our easy-to-use online system.
Dragon boat racing is the fastest growing water sport in the world. Twenty paddlers move in unison combining strength with teamwork in a boat. Great White North (GWN) Dragon Boat is the largest, full-service dragon boat racing company in North America.
The average cost of a wish is approximately $10,000 and we are working towards granting five wishes for some very special children coping with a life-threatening illness.
Join today and help make the magic of a wish come true!
