EVENT
Victoria Beach Police - Pedalling for Wishes

The 4th Bi-Annual “V.B.P. - Pedaling for Wishes” ride will take place August 9th, 2012 starting at the gates of Victoria Beach at 7 am.  Be one of only 30 participants to cycle the 130 km journey down historic Highway 59 to the Travelodge (East) in Winnipeg via Selkirk and Lockport.  Participating cyclists will be joined by members of the Victoria Beach Police Cycling team and members of the W.P.S. Bicycle Relay Team. Our common goal will be to raise funds to grant two children with life-threatening illnesses their most heartfelt wish.

This ride is fully supported by Alter Ego Sports. This generous sponsor provides snacks, hydration and minor bike repairs along the route. Highlights of the day's ride include a stop at the World Famous Skinners restaurant for lunch, a full Police escort provided by members of the W.P.S. down Main St. through downtown Winnipeg, and a celebration dinner at the Travelodge (East) immediately following the event.

The first 30 people submitting their entry form and $60 fee are guaranteed participation, however, those who also raise a minimum of $300 in donations for the Children's Wish Foundation will receive the following...

•    Entry into our draw for several fabulous prizes including a 2012 Trek 1.5 Road Bike valued at $1,300
•    A 2012 Custom "Pedaling for Wishes" cycling jersey provided by SUGOI and valued at $120.00
•    A ticket to the celebration dinner being held at the Travelodge (East) at the end of the ride

Pledge sheets used to collect your donations are available from any Victoria Beach Police member or the Children's Wish Office.

To register, please complete an entry form and submit it with $60.00 to the Event Coordinator, Sergeant Clyde Raven (Victoria Beach Police). For more information, contact Sgt. Raven at (204)756-2322 or the Children’s Wish Office at 1-800-267-9474. Deadline for final registration is June 30, 2012.
