Every volunteer for Children’s Wish is an integral part of making wishes come true.  Some volunteers, like Westley Hood, deserve to be recognized for their longstanding and significant contribution.  Westley Hood is a real family man, a kind hearted husband and loving father of two young children.  But besides being a great family man, he’s considered to be a real go-getter within his community always finding time to devote to community projects on Prince Edward Island.

Each year Westley works tirelessly to collect pledges for the Children’s Wish Foundation- Prince Edward Chapter’s Wishmaker Walk for Wishes.

In a span of ten years, Westley has volunteered his time and individually raised more than $113,000 all in order to help grant the wishes of Island children. In doing so, The Children’s Wish Foundation would like to recognize Westley as he continues his mission in collecting pledges for the Wishmaker Walk for Wishes.

Furthermore, Westley is expanding his achievements by guiding his son to understanding the importance of being a part of the community. This year, Westley’s son will also join him to rally their local community to gather donations to make even more wishes possible.  We celebrate Westley and the Hood family for their dedication and commitment!
