Children's Wish hit the jackpot thanks to four casinos held across Alberta in support of The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada - AB & NWT Chapter!

Thanks to a dedicated team of volunteers in each Calgary, Edmonton, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat approximately $190,000 is expected to be raised, which equals roughly 20 wishes granted! A special thank you to Lynne McGuire, Lethbridge Subchapter Chair and Donna Serr, Medicine Hat Subchapter Chair, for managing casinos in Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, and the numerous volunteers who made each casino possible.

Each two day casino required a total of 38 volunteer shifts for a total of 150 volunteers who served as bankers, managers, chip runners or helped in the count room until the wee hours of the morning! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help create the magic of a wish for children with life-threatening illnesses.
