On March 2008, the Foundation received a memorial gift of $5,238 in memory of Rebecca along with the letter and poem below:

"Rebecca was granted her wish to Disney World in March 2004.

She greatly appreciated this trip and spoke about it often, as we did as a family. We have wonderful memories of this trip.

Over the past year, The Children’s Wish Foundation has been fortunate to have been chosen by some of the employee groups from Canada Post as their charity of choice.

We are very grateful for their acknowledgement of our goals to reach every child in Manitoba and Nunavut deserving of a wish and to provid these special children with their most heartfelt desire.
