Rob Bennett dropped by to thank NovaScotian Crystal for their continued support of The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada through the making of their custom designed  “Wish Bowl”. Every customer purchase makes possible a $35.00 donation to Children’s Wish.

“What started as an idea a few years ago has grown. As a company we felt we needed to be focused on a specific charity in order to make a difference and the Wish Bowl exceeded all our expectations with customers’ contributions making it possible to grant approximately 6 wishes” said Rod McCulloch, President of NovaScotian Crystal.

“Children’s Wish presented their amazing work to all our staff a few years ago and won our hearts. As a result they immediately became our chosen charity.  We then set out to design something that would be cherished and at the same time give back; so the Wish Bowl was created.” explained Ryan.

The Wish Bowl features elements of the Children’s Wish Logo including the design cuts of the shooting stars along with the W for wish.  An enclosure card explains the mission of the foundation and the meaning of the Wish Bowl.

Mouth-blown, hand-cut and polished by hand each bowl takes about one week to make from sand to the gift box with 8 craftsmen applying their skills.
