On November 30, 2006 Nova Scotia teenager Stefan and his family left for Park City, Utah to fulfill his life-long wish of meeting and skiing with Freestyle legend Tanner Hall. The wish was made possible by the Children’s Wish Foundation.

Stefan is a member of the Nova Scotia core team for the Canada Games in Freestyle Skiing and is living with Cystic Fibrosis. His illness has never stopped him from dreaming big dreams!

"My illness doesn’t keep me from skiing, and now that I have learned some of Tanner’s tricks, I’m going to be an even better skier," said Stefan. "Meeting Tanner was the Best Day of my Life!"

In addition to meeting his hero and learning some of the tricks of the trade at Big City Resort in Park City, Stefan and his family attended the Deer Valley Celebrity Ski Challenge, along with celebrities such as James Blunt, Glen Close, CR Johnson and several former US Olympians including Tommy Moe and the Mahre brothers.
