Dear Folks at the Children’s Wish Foundation,

Remember me?... your special wish child, Baden!! My family and I have just returned from my wish trip at Disney World and the Disney Cruise way down in Florida and the Bahamas! I had an awesome vacation! Mommy, Daddy, my sister, Holly (who by the way is only 2½ years old) and I started our adventure with my very own BIG bus ride to Halifax airport, thanks to Mr. Dennis Campbell and his company Ambassador Gray Line Bus Tours.

Dennis came really early in the morning to make sure that we caught our plane to fly to Montreal and then to Florida. He is really cool! He was the first to sign my autograph book! Once parked at the airport terminal, he let me sit in the bus driver’s seat and honk the horn!! What a great guy!!

During my flight to Montreal, the pilots and crew were really nice and let me have a look at all the instruments, buttons and switches in the cockpit. When we arrived in Montreal, they announced to everyone that my family and I were on our way to Disney World on my wish trip! They too signed my autograph book and one of the flight attendants gave me my very own set of wings!

When we finally arrived at our resort in Disney World and checked into our room, we hurried off on another big bus to Magic Kingdom! It was way more than I could have ever dreamed or wished for, especially finally getting to visit VMK Headquarters on Main Street U.S.A!! During our four day stay at Disney World, we visited all of the Disney theme parks but Magic Kingdom by far was my favourite! It was Holly’s favourite too! We got to see fireworks three different times and they had a Pirate and Princess Party too!

On the fourth day of my trip, we took another big bus to Port Canaveral where we boarded the Disney Wonder, the ship that would take us to the Bahamas to start our Disney Cruise! The cruise started with a big Sail Away Dance Party! Everyone was so excited and jumping all over the place! I even got to dance with Pluto! My favourite parts of the cruise included playing in the Oceaneer’s Club and Lab and playing in the sand on the beach in Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island! Holly and I had the time of our lives and so did Mommy and Daddy!

This year’s theme at Disney World is "Where dreams come true" and this was certainly true for me and my sister, Holly. Thanks so much for granting me my wish and having my family come along to share in the moment!!
