A unique fundraiser has once again proven to be a runaway success for “Brides on the Loose," a group of women who dressed up in their old wedding dresses to raise funds for The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada.

The energetic Brides on the Loose were overwhelmed with support and have raised over $44,000 for Children’s Wish!

Brides on the Loose, organized by Kim Mannerow, first began in 2011 when the Brides successfully raised over $27,000 for Children’s Wish through this pledge based event.

The success of the 2011 event inspired Kim to increase the number of Brides and event sites. This year Brides from all over Ontario met in Niagara Falls and Barrie and almost 100 women dressed up in the gowns for the day.
