On Saturday, October 15th, hundreds of people walked together to grant the most heartfelt wishes of Island children. The 2011 Walk raised over $110,000 with Westley Hood being the top Fundraiser raising over $18,000!
Prince Edward Island was pleased to host Wishmaker Walk for Wishes presented by Compass Group in five communities across the Island, Charlottetown, Summerside, North Rustico, Montague and Tignish. The event allows families, individuals, corporate and community groups to collect pledges and have the opportunity to have fun and help grant a wish!
