For a second consecutive year, Tanya and Amanda, employees at the Royal Victoria Hospital Daycare Center, have organized a walk-a-thon for the benefit of the Children’s Wish Foundation. This year, all the groups took part in the walk that took place on Mount Royal on May 9 and together they collected $3,050! It was a fabulous success for an event that had collected $1,221 on its first edition.

A few years ago, two of the children who attended the daycare passed away. In memory of Chloe and BaHuy, the organizers of the walk wanted to raise awareness with families and make a difference for sick children. They decided to donate the collected funds to The Children’s Wish Foundation  of Canada and contribute to the magic of wishes.

Parents and children enthusiastically took part in this special day dominated by balloons, strollers and smiles.
