Julien and I got back from our trip as planned on Thursday, and what a trip it was!!!!

Upon our arrival, we headed to the tennis stadium in spite of our exhaustion. Julien and I witnessed the Ivanovic-Sharapova match. It was a real delight to see the young Ivanovic play.

We then returned to the hotel and spent the better part of the day sleeping (20 hours of sleep) so we would be all ready to visit Paris. We were staying in a very prosperous area, but we nonetheless found several quaint and inexpensive restaurants.

We saw the Place de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe in one night. We also visited plenty of other sites and caught a glimpse of Mirka Vavrinek (Roger Federer’s girlfriend), who was walking down the street with a friend.

The memorable final match was well played and had a vibrant atmosphere. Everyone was rooting for Federer, but he did not come through in the end. However, Nadal is really an excellent player. We saw him and Davydenko practising on Thursday, and it is quite spectacular to see them up close.

During the last three days of our trip, we toured the city, did some shopping and got some rest. In short, everything went very well, without a snag or a hint of trouble, and that is certainly thanks to you.

Thank you once again. We will be grateful to you for a long time to come.
