Since 1987, The Children’s Wish Foundation Prince Edward Island Chapter has been busy granting the special wishes of Island children. The wishes granted have been as unique and wonderful as the children requesting them!

 

Thanks to the generous support of Islanders, Island children have experienced the joy of having their wish come true. Our vision is that every child enjoys the best quality of life possible including the experience of laughter, shared joy and treasured memories with the most important people in their lives. Our goal is to provide a once in a lifetime experience for children between the ages of three and seventeen who are diagnosed with a life threatening illness. Anticipating the wish experience and sharing it with family and friends provides a wonderful distraction from the harsh realities of illness.

 

The Children’s Wish Foundation of Canada is a federally chartered, non-profit organization dedicated to fulfilling a favorite wish for these children. The Prince Edward Island Chapter relies solely on the generosity of Islanders, who through donations and fundraisers enable our Chapter to continue its work of granting the wishes of Island children. As public awareness increases, so do the number of children requesting our assistance.
